Welcome to Resort at Home where our resort-inspired designs encourage you to live every day like a vacation day. Our home office is located on the fabulous Treasure Coast of Florida. Some say the nickname “Treasure Coast” reflects the many shipwrecks in our area. We think it’s due to the vast natural treasures we enjoy with bountiful sunshine, warm weather, and miles of pristine waterways.
Resort at Home’s first fabric collection was influenced by three jewels on the Treasure Coast: Vero Beach, Stuart, and Palm Beach. For our second collection, we found our inspiration in three fabulously fun cities in Florida: Miami Beach, Naples, and Islamorada. Each place has a unique personality and we wanted to capture the spirit of them in our collections.
Our fabrics are printed in the USA and made to order with no minimums. The prints can be applied to a variety of fabrics depending on the usage whether its light upholstery, window treatments (including sheers and blackout), bedding, pillows, tabletop, clothing, or accessories like totes and handbags. Most of our prints can also be customized to suit your needs. Please contact us for information and pricing for customization.
Miami Beach Collection
Known for its Art Deco architecture and racy night life, this international hot spot first made headlines in the 1950s. Uber chic resorts like the Fountainebleau Delano, and Eden Roc attracted Hollywood’s A-list stars and was a favorite venue of Frank Sinatra and his rat pack buddies Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. We took our design and color cues from that Miami-Modern (MiMo) vibe that is enjoying a new resurgence today.
Islamorada is a tropical village located in the Florida Keys. The string of five narrow islands are flanked by the clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean to the southeast and Florida Bay to the northwest, so gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the water are an everyday occurrence there. Everything about Islamorada is colorful. Its name translates to Purple Isle, everything flowers in bright colors, the coral reefs are inhabited by an array of tropical fish, even the residents are a colorful lot. The laidback lifestyle is reflected in this collection with sun washed watercolors in island-inspired prints.
The city of Naples, Florida was founded in 1880, taking its name from the famous Italian city because of their similarly beautiful scenery. Naples has a relatively small population in the city itself, but boasts one of the highest per capita incomes and the second highest number of millionaires in the U.S. While Maseratis and Ferraris are a common sight here, it’s the abundant wildlife and low-key coastal vibe that leave an impression on visitors. It’s cool and cultured with a touch of European flair that keeps you coming back for more.
Vero Beach Collection
Vero Beach is a beautiful seaside village on Florida’s Treasure Coast. Vero maintains it’s quaint, quiet atmosphere while still boasting world-class cultural finds, spectacular botanical gardens, a plethora of fine dining, and breathtaking scenery. It’s unassuming, but stunning, resorts are known for attracting the ultra wealthy looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle of the better known vacation spots. Vero’s unspoiled beaches are like a breath of fresh air and residents and visitors alike enjoy the tranquil vibe of this unique place. It’s colorways are a soft, luxe and fresh and include a light blue called Surf, a light green called Grass, and a light tan called Sand. They are printed on a soft white background called Cloud.
Stuart is a great little town on the east coast of Florida known as the Sailfish Capital of the World. Named the “Happiest Seaside Town” in 2016 by Coastal Living Magazine, Stuart is all about water, warm weather sports, and was once home to some of the largest pineapple plantations in the US. The colorways were inspired by the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over it’s many bodies of water including the St. Lucie River, Lake Okeechobee, the Indian River Intracoastal Waterway, and miles of clear blue water on our Atlantic Ocean beaches. It’s colorways are sporty, vibrant, and warm and include a dark blue called River, a bright gold called Pineapple, a dark orange called Sunset, and a teal called Marina. They are printed on an off white background we call Foam.
PALM BEACH Collection
Palm Beach has quite a history with maverick land developers, railroads, hurricanes, and hearty pioneers all contributing to its story. Palm Beach became famous as the winter playground of the American elite in the early 20th century and has kept them coming back every season. Palm Beach style embraces tropical colors but keeps it structure classical, much like it’s architecture. The resorts in Palm Beach perfectly reflect the city’s personality with their unabashed luxury, seaside glamour, and spectacular ocean vistas. It’s colorways are dramatic, chic, and tropical and include a cool Aqua, juicy Citrus green, bright Coral, and deep Ocean blue. They have a white background we call Blanco.
