STUART — Sage green loggerhead turtles, vibrant multi-colored pineapples and aqua blue parrot fish are among the motifs offered on custom-designed fabrics created by local interior designer Kimberly Perron.
Perron owns Resort at Home, a home decorating studio at 321 S.E. Osceola St. in downtown Stuart. The shop has an array of interior design products and services, but the recent addition of custom-designed fabrics has been well received.
“My clients always say ‘you make my home feel like a resort!’ We strive for that vacation-like feeling and the new Treasure Coast fabric collection reflects that,” said Perron, who isn’t aware of anyone else in the area to using the same dye technique.
The studio’s collection includes three lines: Vero Beach, Stuart and Palm Beach.
Resort at Home’s Vero Beach line exudes a tranquil vibe so the fabrics are muted pastels with seaglass, sargassum and heron designs.
